Individual Therapy

Taking the step to begin therapy is courageous and empowering. By reaching out to another person for help you are saying that you are in need of change and you are ready to make that happen. Starting individual therapy allows you the chance to talk with a therapist one-on-one in a non-judgmental and open environment. Life is hard, and having to deal with life while enduring mental strain caused by anxiety, depression, grief, trauma or many other things can make it feel unbearable. In individual therapy we will work together to find your personal strengths and guide you back to the life that you deserve. Perhaps you have been experiencing life-long struggle; possibly there has been a recent life transition that is causing you worry, or maybe you just need someone to talk to. Therapy is a great place to start in order to feel more fulfilled, less worried, and gain overall peace.

Couples Counseling

Relationships are hard. Whether you and your partner are experiencing fighting, resentment, total shut down, or just an inability to connect, therapy can help. As humans, we have an innate need for connection to others. When this is broken we feel anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, irritable, and alone. Many couples seek therapy after years of challenges and struggles, and start to believe that the relationship is doomed, or these difficult interactions are permanent. I am here to tell you that change is possible! I work with couples to redefine their relationship, build stronger communication skills, and learn how to love and understand one another again. Together we will work to explore the thoughts and feelings behind the actions and identify ways to reconnect for a better future.

Family Therapy

We love our families; but, sometimes, possibly more often than not, we find that we are butting heads and emotions are running wild. Family therapy works with the family as a whole in order to identify conflicts, build communication skills, and get back to a place where life is running smoothly. In family therapy, each member is asked to take a role in understanding the needs of others, appropriately expressing their own needs, and build an environment that fosters growth, love, and joy.
